More than 100 children in the Bay discovered nature with 'little bags of sunshine'
South West Family Values' and local charity Roslin Hall teamed up to provide 'Little bags of sunshine' for families across Torbay.
More than 100 children received the unique bags which were all hand crafted and with Lupton-based Orchard Forest School type-activities to enjoy in their outside space or on their daily exercise walk.
South West Family Values run Orchard Forest School. Each bag contained four or five activities which encouraged the families to explore nature in a fun way using the resources provided, some of which included den building kits, binoculars, growing cress and sunflowers, scavenger hunts, bug hunting kits and making crafts out of nature.
The charity thanked Paignton's Axworthy's stationery shop who supported the project and enabled a 'virtual shop' to ensure craft resources were available for the bags.
