Abi Martin
The flourishing young career of Abi Martin has taken another exciting turn with the teenager selected in the Great Britain for the World Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta next month.
Abi, who is based at the South Devon School of Gymnastics, was part of the Team GB that performed superbly in the Paris Olympics last year, and her amazing progress is again being recognised on the global stage.
Her local club said: “A truly fabulous achievement after a long year of injury and building back!
“Abi we can’t wait to see you shine on the world stage once again, you continue to be such an Incredible role model to all of the gymnasts at the club!”
Well said, Abi’s career is a massive inspiration to youngsters in all sports across Torbay, providing real-life evidence that dreams are achievable with hard work and talent.
