Entries open for a festival on the water
Entries are now open for the Torbay Royal Regatta 2024 and a chance to be involved in a very special occasion in the Torbay sporting calendar.
Hosted by Royal Torbay Yacht Club, the Torbay Royal Regatta is one of the oldest and most prestigious events in the country, and a brilliant addition to the August Bank Holiday experience in our beautiful Bay.
But don’t just our word for it, the Sail World magazine describes the Regatta in glowing terms: “Over many years, the Royal Torbay Yacht Club has established an enviable reputation in hosting top class regattas and championships.
“The English Riviera is a great place to be in August and competitors can be sure that you will enjoy a friendly atmosphere, cordial hospitality and great shoreside entertainment featuring regatta welcome night, other themed party nights, Fireworks and much, much more.”
The 2024 addition of this wonderful event will take place from August 24 – 26, with the three days of racing involving a full-range of boating enthusiasts. There are a range of categories open to entrants and the opportunity to win trophies steeped in watersport history.
