South Devon Rotarians have united - over beds!

The Rotary Clubs of Teignmouth, Dawlish Water, Ashburton and Buckfastleigh, and Preston (Torbay) joined forces to fund new beds for Rowcroft Hospice.
The beds on Rowcroft’s 13-bed Inpatient Unit have been in service for almost 20 years and have now reached the end of their maintenance contract. A new Hospice Beds Appeal has been launched asking people in the South Devon community to help by donating.

The Rotary Club of Teignmouth took this need on board and encouraged other local Rotary Groups to get involved.  They have raised enough to buy four beds

Alison Upton, Community Fundraising Manager at Rowcroft, said: "The pandemic has meant that we can’t fundraise in the usual way. Thank you so much to the Rotary Clubs.”
