The Paignton Branch of the Royal British Legion met to remember and pay respect to the 'few who gave so much' in The Battle of Britain.
All three services were represented and wreaths laid.
The branch is pleased to be together again and meets in the local Conservative Club on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm.
A spokesman said: "If you wish to join or offer help with the Poppy Appeal come and see us or leave a message on 01803 555838, a member will get back to you."
