Paignton Lions Club continue to support good causes in community

Paington Community Larder is £2,500 better off - thanks to Paignton Lions Club.
Lions club president Alan Tozer presented the money to Anita from the project.
The Lions have been helping local good causes throughout the Covid-19 lockdown. The have also given £1,000 to an appeal at https://www.gofundme.com/f/therapy-dog-for-george to provide a therapy dog for a six-year-old boy who as a rare syndrome that impacs every part of his life.
Since lockdown, the Lions have also given £1,000 to Torbay Food Alliance - £500 from club funds and £500 from a grant from Lions Multiple District Funds; £1,000 to Devon Freewheelers Blood Bikers; £1,000 to the Children's Hospice Southwest and £300 to various local emergency services in the shape of vouchers.
Lions spokesman Martin Rogers said: 'We are continually fundraising to support our local community.'
