Lockdown has placed strange pressures on every corner of society but Torbay businesses are adapting brilliantly to the new challenges.

One great example is the Knit and Stitch craft shop in St Marychurch, which has moved their operation online and by providing a new delivery service, they are keeping the Bay's creative juices flowing.

'I now offer doorstep deliveries and the current situation has seen so many people wanting to pass their time with craft,' said owner Pam Richardson.

'As well as supplying the equipment for crafts, we also produce certain goods for purchase, with the most recent being face masks. I've sold an awful lot of yarn and, if you are a crafter and locked inside, there is an overwhelming desire to be creative.

'We've had to diversify and it's great we can still provide a service.'
