Jimmy saddles up with charity-boosting syndicate

Well-known South Devon racing figure Jimmy Frost has joined forces with a new racing syndicate that donates all profits to charity.
4Racing Owners' Club was established in 2020 as an affordable way for people to have an involvement in racing. But unlike most other syndicates, all profits are donated to the charity of the trainer's choice.
Jimmy will train Gracefull Dancer for the syndicate at his yard near Buckfastleigh. Ginge, as he is known at home, will be ridden where possible by Jimmy's record breaking daughter Bryony.
One hundred shares are available, costing just £325 per year, giving syndicate members an affordable way to get involved in horse racing.
Graham Arnold, who co-founded the syndicate, says: "My interest in racing started from a very young age and we had many family outings to Epsom, Lingfield Park, Kempton and other southern courses. The passion remains and I am in awe of these magnificent animals and the work and dedication by the people who look after them. We wanted to have a horse in a smaller yard so that our members have a greater sense of involvement."
Jimmy said: "It's a great concept that we're excited to be a part of and we're looking forward to getting Gracefull Dancer on racecourse. We've already had one members' day, which was a great success, and look forward to welcome members here during the season."
Jimmy's 30-year career as a jockey earned him some 500 winners including the 1989 Grand National riding Little Polvier and the 1991 Champion Hurdle on Morley Street. He also twice rode the winner of the Breeders Cup Chase in Maryland, USA.
