A property in Torquay has been 'closed' by police amid allegations of 'persistent anti-social behaviour.'
Police officers attended Newton Abbot Magistrates Court on Thursday where, in company with their Force Legal ASB Lead, they secured a Closure Order on an address in the East Street area of the town.
Police said the action was taken after reports of persistent anti-social behaviour at the location.
The Closure Order prevents anyone other than the landlord accessing the property including as a visitor and the communal areas for the next three months.
The occupant is being supported moving forward by partner agencies.
Torquay police said: "Anti-social behaviour can cover many things and can have a major impact on people's lives if it is not addressed."
If you need to report anti-social behaviour, you can do it locally by reporting to Devon and Cornwall Police or Torbay Council.
