Harrison, who is currently tackling five end-of-season races in Italy for his WorldTour team Cofidis, seized on a chance to visit the Colnago factory at Cambiago, near Milan, and their legendary designer and builder Ernesto Colnago.
Sgnr Colnago, 91, is still working at the world-renowned bike-building business he founded more than 70 years ago, and he showed Wood, 23, round his private collection of machines, many of them among the most iconic and ground-breaking in the history of the sport
