Torquay Rotary Club's Graham Doodson, president for the club's 100th anniversary year, has handed over to incoming president Gerald Arnold.

Given the Covid pandemic in 2020 was a very challenging year, the club of enthusiastic Rotarians still managed to be very active and engaged in a range of initiatives that have supported people in Torbay.

For example, members have significantly improved Torwood Gardens sensory garden, supported local schools with a speaking competition and the supply of books, collected unused disability equipment to be reused, given regular supplies to the local foodbank, and provided new plant displays in the main entrance of Torbay Hospital.

These are just a few of the activities which members are going to continue this year so if you are looking to become involved in these good works and meet like-minded people,  then please ask about joining Torquay Rotary by visiting www.torquay.rotary1175.org
