The Torbay Weekly has been given exclusive pre-launch access to a new online business, Bay Deliveries.

From today, their online food and drink grocery store is open for business and we have secured the first 100 delivery slots exclusively for our readers.

Bay Deliveries is based around similar technology to the major supermarket chains and, having had a look around the site last week, seems to be just as easy to use for your shopping.

However, for all those who want to support Torbay and the region, it has one critical difference - who it stocks.

Bay Deliveries has pulled together some of our best-loved local businesses in categories including beers, ales, spirits and wines, fresh fish, meat and veg alongside all of the standard categories, all available for the first time in one place.

Ahead of its official launch next week, Bay Deliveries is partnering with the Torbay Weekly and opening their online doors a week early for our readers.

Bay Deliveries has been set up by a group of local people led by investor and co-founder James Arnold.

He said: “At its heart, Bay Deliveries is about getting a full range of amazing local food and drink into the hands of customers.

“By pulling together a wide range of local brands, we want to become the destination site for anyone looking to buy local and invest in all of our futures.”

The team behind the business have direct links to companies like Facebook and Google and are launching digital tech start-up business, supporting lots of local businesses and jobs with potential to roll out across the region and beyond.
