Cyclist James Allison is taking part in next month’s Prostate Cancer Cycle the Month challenge.

The idea is to cover 100 miles your way, over a day, a weekend, or the whole month to raise funds and awareness in the fight to beat Prostate Cancer, a cause with particular resonance for James and his family.

“My father-in-Law, Ted Caunter, sadly lost his battle with prostate cancer and it just made sense for me to be involved with Cycle the Month,” said James, who lives in Goodrington.

“I will probably try to cover the 100 miles over a couple of rides across Torbay. There are so many beautiful places to visit and I am looking forward to the challenge.”
