From apprentice to head chef - Aaron has right ingredients for great career

Aaron Finch started working in a kitchen straight from school aged just 17. He enjoyed the job and decided he wanted to train more formally as a chef.
He made the move to TLH Leisure Resort’s Aztec Bistro in 2017 and in 2018 was promoted to Sous Chef and soon became an integral part of the kitchen team. Whilst in this role, he undertook his Level 3 Senior Production Chef Apprenticeship, supervised and assisted by the Swatpro Academy.
Aaron found the apprenticeship to be invaluable and he was quickly able to use his enhanced skills when promoted to Acting Head Chef in the Aztec Bistro.
After completing his apprenticeship, Aaron has now been confirmed as Head Chef for the Bistro at only 24. He is relishing the additional responsibility and the chance to make an impact on the menus and the customer experience. He is keen to undergo more training and eventually would like to own his own restaurant.
Aaron has proved that, if you have the passion and enjoy the job, then an apprenticeship within hospitality can be a rewarding route to furthering your career.
