Brixham Town Council has launched a virtual Brixham In Bloom competition for residents to take part in during the coronavirus lockdown.

“There are a lot of green-fingered residents among us and with many self-isolating or unable to work, there’s been plenty of time to concentrate on the garden.” said town clerk Tracy Hallett.

“A virtual in bloom competition is a great way to show off all their hard work and to share some positive inspiration while we are all keeping safe at home”, she added.

The competition runs from Monday, May 18, until Sunday, May 31, and the categories include front garden, rear garden, window box / container and allotment. To take part, send your photos to info@brixhamtowncouncil.gov.uk

Images will be shared on the town council’s social media and websites and the winner revealed on June 1.
