Brixham Rotary Club pays for 52 sets of Angels’ scrubs at Torbay Hospital

The Rotary Club of Brixham has continued to support many community projects and switched members' meetings to virtual ones during lockdownb.

The South Devon Scrubs Angels received a donation from the club enabling them to produce 52 sets of scrubs for Torbay Hospital as well as a supply to Douglas House, the Cheshire Home in Brixham.

Jenny Smith from South Devon Scrubs Angels said 'We would like to thank the Rotary Club of Brixham for their support at this difficult time.'

Sir Jeremy Hanley, Brixham Rotary president, said 'Although meetings of our Rotary club may be virtual, we are still able to contribute to the community. We are totally supportive of these wonderful Angels. I would like to thank Rotarian David Sharpe for facilitating this contribution to the club and we will continue to fundraise to to support other such worthwhile projects locally.'
