Additional public toilets re-open in Paignton and Torquay

Addtional public toilet facilities have been opened across Torbay.
Torbay Council has been working hard with Healthmatic to reopen the facilities at the following locations -
Paignton:
• 1 toilet at Goodrington North (unisex and/or disabled facility)
• 1 toilet at Preston North (unisex and/or disabled facility)
Torquay:
• 1 toilet at Corbyn Head (unisex and/or disabled facility)

These facilities are in addition to the facilities that were reopened last week at -
Brixham:
• 1 toilet at Brixham Breakwater (unisex and/or disabled facility)
• 1 toilet at Brixham Harbour (unisex and/or disabled facility)
• 1 toilet at Bank Lane, Brixham (unisex and/or disabled facility)
Paignton:
• 1 toilet at Goodrington Central (unisex and/or disabled facility)
• 1 toilet at Festival Apollo (unisex and/or disabled facility)
• 1 toilet at Paignton Central (unisex and/or disabled facility)
• 1 toilet at Broadsands (temporary facility)
Torquay:
• Torquay seafront (unisex and/or disabled facility).
While toilet provision is available at these locations, the number of cubicles and operating times have been scaled down in order to minimise the risk of infection to the public and cleaning operatives.
Only single occupancy cubicles will be available, in addition cash payments have been disabled with only contactless payments being accepted.
All users of the facilities are asked to adhere to the guidance on display with regards to social distancing and hygiene, both before and after using the facilities.
Units will be closed when cleaning is being carried out, and the council asks that users remain patient when cleaning is taking place.
Facilities will be open from around 8am until 6pm daily.
