Mural of football star Kieffer appears at community college
Pupils of King Edward VI Community College may have had a surprise on their walk through the school gates last week, as they saw a graffiti mural of football star Kieffer Moore outside the grounds.
Current Wales and Bournemouth footballer Moore is, of course, a former pupil of the school and played a major role for Wales as they reached the FIFA World Cup in Qatar with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Ukraine in the play-off final.
Twelve red murals were painted across the UK and although portraits of most players have been painted in Wales, the mural of Torquay-born striker Moore appeared outside his old stomping ground, at King Edward VI Community College, in Totnes.
Fans were encouraged to take their photos with the murals, using the hashtag #YLlawrGoch – The Red Floor.
Congratulations to Kieffer and Wales, who will now play in England’s group at the World Cup in November.
