Excitement has been rising thanks to Torquay's Priory Catholic Primary School’s new Sensory Garden.

Riviera Landscaping have helped to transform the grounds into a beautiful space for the children at the school.

Torbay MP Kevin Foster officially opened the new space which includes a mud kitchen, rustic musical instrument area, sand pit, vegetable beds, fruit cages, small animal enclosure and our home bred chickens.

A spokesman said: "It’s such an exciting time for the school and we can’t wait to share our magical grounds with the local community. Behind the white walls at the front of our school, awaits adventure beyond belief. It’s our very own Narnia and we can’t wait to welcome families."

Families can contact the school for a tour of the grounds. Pupils will be available to talk to so they can hear how great they are from ‘the horse’s mouth’.
