The Kind of Magic animal and nature centre is celebrating a magical cash boost.
The Community Interest Company has received £10,000 in National Lottery Community funding
The centre, based in Kingskerswell, will now be able to offer animal and nature based well-being sessions for families and young people in Torbay and Teignbridge.
It will also allow the centre to offer a range of weekend, school holiday and after school club sessions for primary aged children, accompanied by an adult.
Term time visits from groups of primary school children who could benefit from the healing power of the open countryside and contact with animals will also be part of the future plans
Director Clair Fynn said: “Thanks to National Lottery players, this grant means that we can offer families and young children the opportunity to relax in an outdoor environment and create happy memories.
"Time spent at our peaceful yard, being involved with craft activities, gardening and animal care will support well-being and promote calmness."
