Luke Friend returns to Footloose exclusively for Torquay Princess Theatre

X-Factor star Luke Friend will join the cast of Footloose the Musical to perform in the role of Willard at Princess Theatre, Torquay.

The critically-acclaimed tour opened in February to rave reviews and will be in Torquay on August 9 to 13.

Luke, from Teignmouth, who originated the role of Willard in Zurich earlier this year, came to fame as a finalist on TV’s The X Factor and has an array of accolades as a musician.

A huge hit with Torquay audiences during panto season at the Princess, Luke always enjoys returning home to Devon.

Luke said:  “I’m hugely excited to be returning to the role of Willard and this incredible theatre. Footloose is an amazing show, with a fantastic cast – it’s such a fun night out.

“The buzz from this show is infectious and to be returning home with this production is such a treat! I love the crowd at the Princess Theatre and I cannot wait to see the people of Torquay up on their feet and cutting loose! Looking forward to seeing you all there!”
