Former manager Leroy Rosenior and several of his 2004 League Two promotion-winning team are due to take part in a 'Legends Of The Leroy Era' online get-together with fans in aid of charity on Friday night.

Rosenior, Martin Gritton, Alex Russell, Jo Kuffour and record appearance maker Kevin Hill are among the Plainmoor favourites due to take part in the event.

Midfielder Russell is home from Australia, where he still plays regularly at the age of 49, after the death this week of his father Alex, who played for Southport, Blackburn and Tranmere Rovers in the 1960s and early 1970s.

A successful 'Legends Of The Buckle Era' forum was held last year, also sponsored by the Torquay United Supporters' Trust, which raised £1,800.

The latest forum (7-9pm) - it will be streamed live (tickets £10) on YouTube with a recording available to view later - will be in aid of the Trussell Trust, which works for UK people in hunger, poverty and crisis.
