The Mid Devon Show holds its 29th Annual Show and this year it will be held on Saturday, 23rd July. The show is a Charity with its aims to promote Mid Devon and Agriculture through education and exposure to all that Mid Devon has to offer.

Annually, the show supports local young people by way of scholarships to support them in furthering their education, assist them to fulfil a life-enhancing experience or achieve an award or qualification.

In addition to this, we also have a nominated charity for each show. This year we are delighted to have Devon Air Ambulance as they enter their 30th Anniversary year. All our show activities go towards supporting these worthy causes.

This Year’s show will be packed full of entertainment and there is something for everyone, making it one of Devon’s Best Days Out. The Main Ring headline act this year will be a Freestyle Motorbike Stunt Show performing breath-taking jumps and stunts.

In addition to the normal favourites, we will also have The Dartmoor Hill Pony Display Team, Young Farmers, Vintage Tractor Parade and our local Majorettes – The Diamond Twirlers, and much much more.

Elsewhere around the show ground, we have our wonderful Countryside Area, Music Fest, livestock competitions, fun fair, bouncy castles, dog ring, flower and garden marquee, classic vehicles, vintage tractors and ride on model railway.

The Sheep Show returns and, if you have not seen this hilarious and educational performance, it is a must. If you have seen it, then you will want to see it again!

If shopping is your thing, then we have you covered. Our famous Food Hall has over 50 producers from across the South West with both local offerings and tastes from across the world.

Our Magpie Market Marquee has 60 artisan traders with an eclectic mix of products to tempt you. Our brand-new Craft Marquee is home to all our local crafters with products manufactured from raw materials.

Then, of course, we have up to 300 outside trade stands, which range from small local traders to big national companies, offering you the chance to buy anything from a dog lead to a £250,000 Tractor.

The Show is set in the beautiful parklands of the National Trust’s Knightshayes, overlooking the Town of Tiverton. Parking is Free and we also offer a free Bus Service from Cullompton, our Park & Ride Site and from around the Tiverton Area.

Come and enjoy one of Devon’s Best Days out, organised by people in your community for the benefit of your community.

The show takes place on Saturday, 23rd July. Book tickets online at www,middevonshow.co.uk or call 01884 820859.
