International flavour to the final Predicta

Torbay Weekly

Our final Predicta competition of the season has an international flavour, as teams begin full preparations for the European Championships.
We start with England at home to Romania and a great chance for Gareth Southgate to assess his squad, and starting options, for the opening game with Croatia.
Scotland will be England’s second opponent in the group stage and they travel to Luxembourg for what should be a morale-boosting win.
Wales are at home to Albania on the weekend and, again, an opportunity to build some confidence in the camp.
Our last international game will see the stars of Belgium taking on Croatia – Southgate will definitely have that match on Sky Plus.
It is also the start of the National League play-offs and Torquay United will have particular interest in Notts County v Chesterfield, while Hartlepool host Bromley in the other game.
Can you beat our chief sportswriter Dave Thomas?
NOTTS COUNTY v CHESTERFIELD (Sat) - County win 1-0
With so much at stake, it will be tight, tense with potential for a few 'cards' - County's bench options could tilt it.
HARTLEPOOL UTD v BROMLEY (Sun) - Bromley win 2-1
Pools are favourites, but Bromley can be typical PO gatecrashers - in-form and with a marksman in Michael Cheek.
ENGLAND v ROMANIA - England win 4-0
It won't lower the expectation levels, but England should stroll this Euro warm-up after a tougher assignment against Austria.
LUXEMBOURG v SCOTLAND - Scotland win 2-0
Luxembourg aren't that bad these days, but relaxed Scotland to win, for all it will tell them about bigger stuff to come.
WALES v ALBANIA - Wales win 2-0
Avoiding injuries to men like Kieffer Moore will be as key to Wales as winning against modest opposition.
BELGIUM v CROATIA - A draw 1-1
Why these two heavyweights are meeting before the real deal starts is a mystery - neither will give much away.
