In-demand comedian Lou Sanders is bringing her acclaimed new show "One Word: Wow" to Tiverton's Comedy Hall in March.

Her biggest UK tour yet, she will stop off in Mid Devon before two high-profile shows at the Leicester Square Theatre in London.

Lou is well-known for her live comedy with previous tour Shame Pig selected as a top show to see by all major newspapers including in The Mirror, The Guardian, and The Times. She has also sold out the Edinburgh Festival, adding new dates to meet with demand, as well as scooping many awards.

She is an established face on TV, notably as co-host of Dave’s Unforgivable (Best Entertainment Programme at the Broadcast Digital Awards 2021) and Taskmaster champion.
Lou has also appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden in the States, Live At The Apollo (BBC One), 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), QI (BBC Two), and frequently on radio in The Unbelievable Truth (BBC Radio 4).

Lou Sanders surrealist style and high-octane stage presence make her a joy to watch. She has appeared on ‘Alan Davies As Yet Untitled’, and starred in ‘Live from the BBC’.

Her TV stand-up includes sets on ABC1’s ‘Comedy Up Late’ and ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’. Lou has written for ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, ‘Mock the Week’, ‘Stand Up for the Week’ and ‘Miranda’.

The critics have already showed their appreciation: 'Utterly delightful and hugely talented... Destined for hugeness' (Time Out) 'When Lou rips a room into hysteria, she really rips it hard' (The Sun) '... an hour of non-stop entertainment with seriously big laughs, wild and free and very, very funny’ (Chortle) '... crazy off-beat surrealism' (The Independent).

She is looking forward to a return to Devon, where she has family ties. She said: "I bloody love Devon! My dad’s family are all from around there and I was born just down the road. Sure, 40 minutes down the road, but in Devon that’s nothing."

Lou will be at Tiverton Community Arts Theatre on 12th March, with tickets now on sale at comedyhall.co.uk.
