Thousands of music fans flocked to Powderham Castle for two unforgettable nights of live music, with headline sets from Duran Duran and Basement Jaxx.

The TK Maxx presents Live at Powderham series began on Thursday, with chart-topping singer JC Stewart opening for disco icons Nile Rodgers & CHIC, who delivered a hit-filled set packed with dancefloor anthems. Headliners Duran Duran followed with a career-spanning performance including The Reflex, Ordinary World and Rio.

Friday’s show saw electronic duo Basement Jaxx take to the stage, joined by guest performers for high-energy renditions of Bingo Bango, Romeo and Where’s Your Head At. DJ sets from Craig Charles and Storm Mollison set the tone for the night.

Duran Duran followed up their Exeter show with an epic appearance at BST Hyde Park on 6 July, joining Sabrina Carpenter on stage for a fiery rendition of their 1982 classic Hungry Like the Wolf in front of 65,000 roaring fans — proof they’re not slowing down anytime soon.

The event drew crowds from across Torbay, South Devon and beyond, cementing Powderham’s reputation as one of the region’s top live music destinations.
