Bowls: Great quarter-final win for Torbay

Torbay Indoor Bowls Club enjoyed a great win against Moonfleet 2000 in the Denny Plate quarter finals.

It was another good all-round performance with everyone doing their bit to ensure the win.

Derrick Singleton had an excellent game, saving shots or converting heads time and time.

Clarrie Dunbar (Frome, Somerset) are the next opponents on January 29.

Meanwhile, the men's drawn triples took place on Sunday, January 9, very well organised by Sam Davis and Malcolm Mushing. Hopefully, this will be one of many other competitions.

The 48 players ranged from novices to more seasoned bowlers.

One of the novices was Peter Cartwright who had a very good game leading in Singleton's triple.
