The weather wiped out all but two of the fixtures in the Joma Devon Women's Football League. The two matches that went ahead were in the Western Division and, ironically it was the top two teams who made sure their pitches were available to welcome their opponents.
Activate boosted their goal difference as they beat Shaldon Villa by eight goals to one. They took an early lead, but Shaldon hit back to equalise through Nashya Paz. Unfortunately for the visitors, Activate then rattled in goals at regular intervals, including four from Wensday Wise.
Torquay United were also in the goal scoring mood as they overwhelmed a valiant Plainmoor Ladies team by seven goals to one. Abi Scandrett continued her good run of form with a hat trick, Laura Lewis bagged two, with Harriet Bowring and Sam Tyler each scoring one. Sarah Betterton netted the consolation goal for Plainmoor.
