Babbacombe Theatre is renowned for wowing audiences with their hugely entertaining seasonal shows and Starlight is no exception.

This high-energy show is guaranteed to brighten up the darkest of nights with non-stop song, dance and comedy. The sparkling line-up includes powerhouse singers Holly Cosgrove, Lindsay Collard, Paul Cobley and Wayne Martin, led by Babbacombe's finest comedian Steve Laister.

Steve's versatility promises plenty of tongue-in-cheek capers, as well as some fine vocals. The Dance Chique troupe really work their socks off with high-kicking choreography by Lucy O'Neill to a programme packed with excerpts from musicals, including Westside Story, Starlight Express and Moulin Rouge, as well as hits by stars such as The Beatles, Shirley Bassey and Tina Turner.

The young starlets from the Kidz & Co also get a chance to shine in a first-class performance from the stage show Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. All in all, producer Colin Matthews has yet again served up another classic variety show, offering local talented performers an opportunity to climb the staircase to stardom.

Starlight runs every Tuesday and Wednesday until October 19. Box Office: 01803 328385.
